This website

We count visits with Plausible. It sets no cookies, doesn't follow you to other sites and keeps no personal data. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures how fast pages load, and sets no cookies either. There are no other third-party scripts.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address so we can tell you when Mica is out. We don't use it for anything else. Email support@micanotes.app and we'll delete it.

Your notes

Your notes are plain files on your Mac. Turn on iCloud sync and they're stored in your own iCloud account. We can't see them.

Suggested titles

Titles are made on your Mac by Apple Intelligence. Nothing is sent to us.

Updates

Direct downloads of Mica check micanotes.app for updates about once a day. Like any web request, that shows your IP address and your Mica version to the server. We don't keep a record of it. You can turn the check off in Settings.

Buying Mica

Direct purchases are handled by Stripe, and App Store purchases by Apple. They process your payment details. We never see them. When you buy direct, we keep your email address and the transaction ID so we can issue your license and send it again if you lose it. The "Lost your license?" page uses the same email. We don't use it for anything else.
